The wild new west

EBSCOhost: "The article discusses the appeal of Moab, Utah. According to the article, the area has appeal to yuppie adventurers and family vacationers. The author states that it's transformation is indicative of the new America West. The area is host to an Edward Abbey shrine, sites for biking, boating and off-roading. Moab has managed to avoid the civilizing influence of chain stores, art galleries, and gourmet cuisine."

Lobster

Why is it that it has to be boiled alive does it really make it taste that much better? What I think is really stupid was the price at the lobster fest for the lobster, chips, soda.  If it is so much abundance why does it cost so much.  I my self have never had lobster.  What I have heard it just tastes like butter.

Intro of torsten

My name is Torsten Bangerter. Find my new blog at tbangphoto.blogspot.com My major is Outdoor Recreation
Management. I enjoy the outdoors, camping, photography, and
computers. Some things interesting about me are I was hit by a car
when crossing in a crosswalk and now have a titanium rod inside my
leg. I have a good amount of experience in writing, although I am not
the greatest writer. The most experience I have gotten for a class
would probably be with my English 1010 class. I had Jolayne Class who
is a very interesting person. The first paper that we had to write
was about a personal narrative about an event that changed you. The
next paper that we wrote was a research paper. I think this was the
hardest paper for me because I put it off until the last moment.
Choosing a topic for me is often very difficult. Some things that I
might possibly want to research are alternative fuels, the United
States land management system, Utah's public transportation system,
Macs vs. PCs, What type of car is best for the average college
student.

Energy Citations Database (ECD) - - Document #160574

Energy Citations Database (ECD) - - Document #160574: "Written primarily for fleet management personnel with purchasing, maintenance, or operations responsibilities, Alternative Fuels: Emissions, Economics, and Performance provides essential information for those who are considering adding alternatively-fueled vehicles to their fleets. The book is also an ideal introduction to this topic for legislators, administrators, educators, and anyone interested in learning more about alternate fuels. Readers will gain a solid understanding of the fundamentals of alternative fuels and the factors that need to be considered when evaluating their use. No prior knowledge of alternative fuels is necessary. Alternative Fuels: Emissions, Economics, and Performance contains basic information on the various alternative fuels and objective data on the costs of converting, fueling, and operating alternatively-fueled vehicles. Fuel cost, performance, reliability, and availability are addressed. The book also discusses the impact that the 1990 amendments to the Clean Air Act and the 1992 Comprehensive National Energy Policy Act could have on the use of alternative fuels. A summary of Texas` state law, considered to be representative of state legislation on alternative fuels, and a glossary of key terms, are also included."
