Ftrain

Where I grew up I used to live by the Utah State Hospital also know as the crazy house.
When i was about 8 or so they started adding on to it. They but in the new addition which was the high security facility where they but ax murderers and such. This Included high concrete walls placed on both sides of the road.

Our stake was asked to go serve the metal patient brach the sacrament every one in while. I had some of the weirdest experiences there. There was this guy how had really long hair and kind of bigger, when i passed by him he took the bigest hand full of bread that I Have ever seen. the next time I passed by him he took about 7 cups of water. I guess thats was all he had to eat.

That reminds me of another experience. Occasionally the big gate that is at the south side was open for weeks at a time. I would often ride my bike threw the campus

Technology Update: Personal Locater Beacons (PLD) come online in July 2003

cell phones, satellite phones, GPS...it goes on and on. There have been lots of discussions in our field about 'technology creep,' the slow (and so far it seems inevitable) extension of technological devices into the backcountry. Well, get ready to welcome one more device into the mix, the Personal Locater Device (PLD). The PLD is the extension of two other devices which have been around for years, the EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon) for maritime use the the ELT (Emergency Locator Transmitters) for aviation use. All three devices can be used in an emergency to send an emergency beacon signal to a satellite. The satellite relays the signal to a ground station where the call is forwarded on to the appropriate emergency response system.

For my paper

I have got a lot of research done for cell phones in the wilderness, but now i need to find more on gps.  And write alot more
